FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1 – Choosing the Design
Choosing the right design and the right location can guarantee the success or failure of your tattoo, tattoos have the power to change the destiny of your life, you may have heard someone say don’t do it, then you won’t get a job! This can really happen, but with a poorly chosen tattoo, in the wrong place, because it will stigmatize you or sell you an image that has nothing to do with you, do it with discretion and never on impulse, the opinion of the professional to which you will trust to let tattooing is very important so always ask yourself: “Will it look good?”, don’t let that totally influence your decision, have it only as a second opinion. For the professional tattoo artist, the most important opinion is yours and the third of your friend, friend, father or boyfriend, who usually have a lot of influence on the final decision regarding the design and location, and consequently these are the people who let themselves be persuaded by others. , who end up doing the wrong thing, that is, drawing without passion, or in a place that over time will wear out their relationship with him (drawing), these first steps are the most important, I emphasize again, making the choice of drawing and in the right place you will live in full harmony with your tattoo and will surely be admired for the living art that it will become.
Tip: Our list of tattoo designs allows you to easily sort through thousands of search results and store your favorite designs in your pick list, these can be saved so you can come back another day and continue your search. Saving your list makes it easy for us to understand what you are looking for.
2 – Accredited Location
A tattoo studio that guarantees its physical integrity must be regulated, registered, have a business license and be authorized by the health surveillance, for all this there are supporting documents to be a company, to have a CNPJ number (National Registry of Legal Entities), because if by chance something goes wrong who will you look for? O Zé da Esquina?, Have at least a Biosafety certificate, be equipped with specific equipment for asepsis and most importantly, they must have a certificate recorded by pathologists, as they need to be instructed on the handling of all this equipment as well as the routine and procedure in the sterilization and disinfection of the place, being able to answer all your doubts, as well as a simple question of yours “How do you guarantee my health and well being? Ask them to show you everything before you decide to get tattooed in that place, see the arrangement of the environment, from the state of the furniture and utensils to even the attention given to your inquiries, in this way you can conclude whether or not you felt firmness in the location and staff.
3 – Simplicity can be the solution.
Simple is often the best option, complex and imaginative designs are mostly difficult to materialize in the same way you have them in mind, no matter how good the tattoo artist is, he will hardly be able to synthesize the exact shapes you imagine, I say complex designs, I often receive emails from clients asking for the most absurd themes, recently I was asked to create a composition based on a no-smoking sign with a “Reagge” theme, that’s right the person wanted a “No Smoking” sign. composed of Jamaican ornaments, and two proper names should be in harmony, (harmony?!?!?) no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t contemplate the idea of this client. Simplicity can sometimes have an excellent result.
4 – Finding the right Tattoo Artist.
It is your responsibility to certify the quality of this professional. So how do I know if he’s right for me? You must first know the work done by him, even if by photo, and the place must be accredited to perform the art of tattooing (Legalized store). It’s always nice to find an artist who has a few years of experience, seasoned with the art style you’ve chosen. Ask to see some of their finished work, a professional tattoo artist will have several photos of their work for you to see. If he doesn’t have photos that prove his skill, this is a bad sign. Carefully look at the images. Check the quality of the black outlines, are these lines clean and fresh?, or are they precarious and irregular? Also, look at the color or the shading, are the colors bright and solid or are they blurry, with parts missing? Are the colors harmonious? Is the image easy to understand? Do tattoos have the proper contour for the body? If the images meet your needs, you should go meet the artist. Because tattoos are personal and it’s good to tattoo with someone you trust. Artists should be open to answering your questions. They should enthusiastically participate in your comments to give you encouragement and confidence. If the artist doesn’t like your ideas, or tries to lead you to something you’re not looking for, then you may be in the wrong place. Find an artist who will give you what you want and stay true to your instincts. Not all tattoo artists are the same and it can take you on several different trips to studios before you find the right one. There is no such thing as a perfect tattoo artist, but there is a perfect tattoo for you!
5 – The state of mind.
Never get a tattoo when you are depressed, modern techniques have brought tattoos to incredible levels. There is no reason to get a tattoo that brings you displeasure in the future. However, dissatisfied customers show up every day. One reason for this is clients who get tattooed in unfavorable moods. Sometimes, being impulsive, being on a roll, wanting to prove something to someone, even if it’s a proof of love, that doesn’t usually work out very well, because tattoos are permanent. Avoid “Fashion or Fashion Tattoos.” Make sure you are emotionally prepared to receive your tattoo.
Tip: Never get a tattoo under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
6 – Respect for the tattoo artist
Do not make the professional draw or draw drawings, several times because of their indecisions, it is unpleasant to be drawing, drawing, creating drawings and there is always something to be changed, as I mentioned earlier, go get a tattoo with some pre-defined idea in Mind, if your choice of choice changes completely with each new idea, you can be sure that this will be frustrating for the tattoo artist, it will bring wear and tear that will be reflected in the work, because he will have in mind that no matter how much he does, you will not be satisfied. due to the pertinent doubts in the pre-definition of the drawing, that is, the stimulus is lost, it will seem that everything that he can come to create, know what you really want to do and present a concrete idea on the subject, do a Brain Storm with the professional who will tattoo you. Never make the mistake of saying: “Look, you forgot to fill in here or there, it was a failure here or there” this underestimates the artist’s ability and completely takes away the stimulus, as it is often difficult for you to understand the reason for that place. be different from the original drawing or from what you understand, without underestimating your ability to understand, but the stages of making a tattoo is very complex, it’s not like drawing on a hard surface try to make a cool drawing on a balloon and you’ll understand what I mean if you have any objections declare at the end never in the course of the confection, unless some new idea you come to have and want a change in color but once defined the shape trust the tattoo artist.
7 – How much should I spend?
Remember tattoo is a work of art and therefore there is no table for it, this factor will depend on the place (Store) you choose, the Tattoo Artist’s reputation, the infrastructure offered and mainly the quality offered, the physical structure of the store and not least the place to be tattooed, some tattoo artists charge a different price due to the place to be tattooed, ex: chest and ribs have different values due to the excessive loss of material in the making of the work. Putting all these factors together, keep in mind how much you want to spend so that at the time you don’t have to equate your pocket with the design to be tattooed. A simple comparison, an average woman spends R$ 1000.00 a year at the hairdresser, and this cycle repeats itself for a lifetime, don’t forget that the tattoo is paid only once and this beauty upgrade is forever. So don’t skimp when choosing your design you will pay only once, don’t regret it later saying I could have made it a little bigger or, I should have chosen that “X” design and didn’t do it because of values.
8 – Personal Hygiene
Another thing that is not so important but that contributes to the success of your tattoo is the personal hygiene of the place to be chosen, if you choose an “X” or “Y” location before you arrive at the “H” time, do a hygiene staff suitable for the place to be tattooed, as it is embarrassing for you and the tattoo artist in certain situations, such as going to get a tattoo on your foot after a whole day of work and wearing shoes that give you more foot odor, this will be unpleasant for both parties even if you do a cleaning on the spot, nothing better than coming prepared, with the place very clean, smelling, preferably use any moisturizing cream so the skin will be smooth and hydrated and consequently a result will be more satisfying because a hydrated skin, another result is obtained, even if it is not on the foot, as I took as an example, this is valid for other areas such as armpits, groin, etc.
9 – At the time “H”
The big day has arrived, it is important that you come rested and well nourished. Don’t go out late the night before your tattoo. You should be well rested so you can sit back and relax even more. It is also helpful to have eaten a good light and substantial meal. Tattooed on an empty stomach can be a variety of problems from pressure drop to nausea. When you sit calmly and relaxed, the tattoo artist can concentrate on doing a good job. The two results for a tattoo, one is for those who sit quietly and stay that way, the other is for those who take precious time and energy from both themselves and the tattoo artist, make sure you help the tattoo artist by being relaxed and avoiding complaining about the tattoo machine movements is very likely to have a negative effect on your tattoo. If you sit down and cooperate with your tattoo artist, you’ll be proud to know that you did your part to make the tattoo look perfect!
10 – Taking care of your new Tattoo
It is not finished until the tattoo is completely healed. After the tattoo artist has done his job, now is the time for you to do yours. Your tattoo will take close to a month before it is completely healed, during the first healing phase (about 3 to 5 days) you may experience discomfort, swelling, after the 3rd day you should wash your new tattoo at least 4 or 5 times a day with a light paste of antibacterial soap then gently pat your tattoo dry with a paper towel. The second and final stage (3 – 4 weeks) will also have a big effect on the rest of the tattoo’s life. As the tattoo heals, it tends to dry out and at this point it is important to keep your tattoo hydrated. A good product will help prevent infection, which can leave your tattoo traumatized. While some tattoo artists will recommend different approaches to healing, most will agree on three basic things: keep your tattoo clean, moisturized and protected from sunlight.
Tip: Avoid creams and lotions that contain fragrances, alcohol, artificial colors, and other ingredients that can irritate your tattoo.
For all tattoos, large and small, leave the bandage on for approximately 4 hours, then remove with a bath.
Wash your tattoo with dye-free, fragrance-free soap (preferably antibacterial) and warm water.
Dry with clean paper towels (do not rub/wipe) or allow to air dry.
Apply a FINE layer of ointment, such as “Bepantol Derma”.
Remember, the skin needs to breathe during healing, so be sure not to use an excessive amount of ointment.
Reapply the ointment every 2 hours and wash your tattoo with soap and warm water at least 2-3 times a day for the first four days.
We advise you to wrap your tattoo while you sleep for the first 3 nights with food grade plastic wrap. Wash your tattoo, apply a thin layer of ointment, and roll it up (you may need to tape it depending on where your tattoo is.
This is to ensure your tattoo doesn’t dry out overnight and also to prevent it from sticking to your sheets or clothes while you sleep. DO NOT EXCEED THREE NIGHTS DOING THIS PROCESS ON YOUR TATTOO!
With proper care, your tattoo should start to peel off within the first three to five days, just like a sunburn.
Do not remove or scratch the peeled crusts, your body will naturally let them flake off when it’s ready. When the tattoo starts to peel off, the first layer of skin is exfoliating; again, let it peel on its own!
Once the peeling layer has stopped, stop using the ointment and switch to a colorless, fragrance-free lotion (we recommend Creme Nívea).
Be careful to keep your tattoo clean and prevent it from drying out.
Apply whenever your tattoo/skin is “tight”, or if it has been more than 2 hours…. From the use of a Hydrate!
Take good care of your investment (tattoo) during the healing process, this is the most important factor for the success of your tattoo.
All touch-ups will require a repair fee; So be very careful, follow the instructions and contact us if you have any questions.
RESTRICTIONS
Please avoid going to the gym for the first 3 days.
Do not use tanning beds while your tattoo is healing, at least
Avoid swimming pools, hot tubs, beaches and situations where the tattoo is submerged or exposed to sand, sun and/or dirt.
Have several people tattooed themselves on it?
He must have many years on the market?
Does it have an autoclave?
Has he appeared in magazines and television?
None of this is safe when we talk about guarantees, they must exist with consistency, they must be proven, words blown in the wind do not bring any guarantee. A tattoo studio that guarantees its physical integrity must be regulated, registered, have a business license, be authorized and registered by the health surveillance, for all this there are supporting documents to be a company, have a CNPJ number (National Registry of Legal Entities), because if by chance something goes wrong who are you going to look for? O Zé da Esquina?, Have at least a Biosafety certificate and preferably be a unionized with a credible class entity, in Brazil we have the SETAP-BR (Union of Tattoo and Body Piercing Companies of Brazil), be equipped with specific equipment for asepsis and most importantly, they must have a certificate given and registered by pathologists, they must be instructed in the handling of all this equipment as well as the routine and procedure in the sterilization and disinfection of the place, be able to answer all questions with a simple your question “How do you guarantee my health and well-being? ask them to show you everything before you decide to get tattooed in that place, see the arrangement of the environment, from the state of the furniture and utensils to even the attention given to your inquiries, in my opinion this would be one of the ways you could conclude whether or not you felt firmness in the place and staff.
A Studio that does not have a business license or is supervised by the health surveillance is clandestine and there, no matter how much goodwill there is, guarantees do not exist.
We are open from 10:00 to 18:00, for an appointment you must call one of the phones via WhatsApp 011-96226-9999 and make an appointment, some exclusive projects are necessary for you to visit before getting a tattoo and explain personally what you want, so we understand what you want and give shape to your ideas.
For catalog or pre-defined designs, just bring the design when you’re going to tattoo that it rolls well.
However, for both cases we only schedule an appointment by phone.
You choose the design and the place where your tattoo will be made, then we make the dimension and rotation of it to be suitable for the place and region, a stencil is taken from this design, a pre-asepsis is carried out on the spot based on products suitable for this purpose is a depilation with a disposable razor, in this chosen place a specific liquid is applied so that the design is transferred to your skin, then all equipment is adjusted, machine speed, needle gauge, assembly of the accessories used in the preparation, this procedure from the beginning until now lasts on average 30 minutes, it is called preparatory procedure.
When everything is properly adjusted, we start the tattoo, with the design transferred, we pass a contour over the entire tattoo, this contour is the basis of the success of your tattoo so you must have the maximum concentration of both the artist and the tattooed, stirred sudden changes are unforgivable and can reflect forever on the shape of the tattoo, this procedure for a tattoo takes, discounting an average 30 minute preparation step.
Shadows and coloring are the final stages, the shadows come first, certain parts of the drawings are darkened so that they take on perspective, depth, shadow and light, colors are often used from the darkest to the lightest tones, different from many other techniques where light comes first, this makes the job more difficult and makes a difference between a professional and an amateur. Knowing how to deal with it is very important.
But we can on the basis of your ideas put into reality and create something unique. For designs sent we charge for this, for designs made in our shop there is no charge.
